In designing the L3.G4, MM Design's designers, in collaboration with Salvagnini's engineering team, prioritized improving machine accessibility. A large front opening with dual sliding doors facilitates easy inspection, while large observation windows, positioned at an ergonomic height and protected by horizontal polycarbonate safety bands, allow operators to monitor the laser sheet metal processing safely and efficiently.
The interface area is mounted on an adjustable support, enhancing the user experience both when the machine is in operation and during material loading. The electrical panel and laser source are housed in a dedicated, easily accessible compartment on the side of the machine.
The overall design of the L3.G4 is highly compact, visually reducing the machine’s substantial dimensions. Additionally, it has been engineered to fit within a standard shipping container without requiring disassembly.
The choice of materials, shapes, colors, and graphics aligns with Salvagnini’s “Diamond Bend” Corporate Design, a project initiated by MM Design in collaboration with Salvagnini’s Marketing Department. This partnership between industry and design has resulted in the development of multiple machines and solutions.
